At Hatlanders, we want every customer to feel confident when shopping for fitted hats, snapbacks, cap carriers, apparel, and exclusive drops. Please review our return and refund policy carefully before placing your order.

Return Eligibility
Can I return a hat if it does not fit?
Eligible fitted hats may be returned within 7 days of delivery for store credit only, as long as the item meets all return requirements.
To qualify for a return, the item must be:

Returned items must be received and inspected before any store credit is issued.
Store credit will be provided in the form of a discount code or credit code that must be used within 30 days of issue.
Hatlanders allows one approved return request per customer/order within a 31-day period.
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted, refunded, or credited.

If an item was purchased at a discount from the regular price, it is considered Final Sale.
Clothing Return Policy
Can I return clothing?
No. Clothing items are Final Sale and cannot be returned for any reason.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Please review sizing, measurements, product descriptions, and photos carefully before purchasing clothing.
Snapbacks, Accessories & Other Products
Can I return snapbacks or accessories?
Hatlanders does not accept returns on snapbacks, clothing, jerseys, jackets, or other non-fitted hat items unless we shipped the wrong item or the product qualifies under a specific approved exception.
Please read each product description carefully before placing your order.
Domestic & International Returns
Can I return an item if I am outside the United States?
Returns are accepted for eligible continental U.S. orders only.
Hatlanders does not accept returns on international orders, U.S. territory orders, or orders shipped outside the continental United States.
Some branded products may be available for domestic U.S. shipping only. New Era products and other restricted items may not be available for international sale or shipment depending on brand requirements, supplier rules, or applicable restrictions.
Return Shipping
Who pays for return shipping?
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless Hatlanders shipped the wrong item.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
If your order was shipped with a free shipping promotion and your return is approved, the original outbound shipping cost may be deducted from your store credit or refund.
Typical return shipping deductions for continental U.S. orders may range from $8 to $10, depending on package size, carrier rates, and shipping destination.
What happens if I used a free shipping promotion?
If your order qualified for free shipping and you return one or more approved items, Hatlanders may deduct the original shipping cost from your final store credit or refund.
This applies because the original shipping cost was paid by Hatlanders as part of the promotion.
How to Start a Return
How do I request a return label?
To request a return, email info@hatlanders.com within 7 days of delivery.

Clear photos of the item, if requested
If your return meets the requirements, we may provide a return shipping label. The cost of the label will be deducted from your final store credit or refund.
Average return label cost for continental U.S. orders is usually between $8 and $10, but the final cost may vary.
Do not send any item back without return approval. Unauthorized returns will not be refunded, credited, or guaranteed to be returned to the sender.
Wrong Item Received
What if Hatlanders sent me the wrong item?
We carefully inspect and pack orders, but mistakes can happen. If you received the wrong item, contact us at info@hatlanders.com as soon as possible.

If we confirm that the wrong item was shipped, Hatlanders will provide a return label and work with you to correct the issue.

The wrong item must be returned in unused condition before a replacement or refund is completed, unless otherwise approved by Hatlanders.
Damaged or Defective Items
What should I do if my item arrives damaged?
If your item arrives damaged, contact us immediately at info@hatlanders.com.

Description of the damage
Damage claims must be reported as soon as possible after delivery. A carrier claim may be required, depending on the situation.
Do not throw away the box, packaging, or shipping label until the claim is reviewed.
Refunds & Store Credit
What happens after my return is delivered?
Once your approved return is delivered back to Hatlanders, we will inspect the item to confirm it meets the return requirements.
If approved, we will issue store credit or a refund according to the eligibility of the order.
Hatlanders does not issue refunds or store credit before the item is returned and inspected.
Shipping costs, shipping protection, route protection, handling fees, and return label costs are non-refundable.
When will I receive my refund?
If a refund is approved, you will receive an email confirmation after the refund is processed.
Refunds typically take 4 to 48 business hours to appear after processing, but the final timing depends on your bank, credit card provider, or payment institution.
Refunds processed on Fridays, weekends, or holidays may not appear until the next business day or later, depending on your bank.
Exchanges
Can I exchange an item for a different size or style?
Hatlanders does not process direct exchanges.
If you need a different size, color, style, or item, you must:

Request a return, if your item is eligible.

Wait for approval and return instructions.

Place a new order for the item you want.
Because many Hatlanders products are limited release items, we cannot guarantee that the item you want will still be available.
Free Shipping Policy
Does free shipping apply to returns?
Free shipping, when active, applies only to eligible orders and eligible items within the continental United States.
Free shipping promotions may apply to hats only and may exclude certain items, locations, collections, or order types.
Free shipping is a limited-time offer and may be changed or ended at any time without prior notice.
If an order shipped for free is later returned, the original shipping cost may be deducted from the final store credit or refund.
Pre-order Policy
Pre-order items are not currently in stock and are produced or secured after orders are placed. These orders once placed, cannot be canceled or refunded.
Each pre-order will include an estimated delivery window. Delivery dates are estimates only and may change due to production timelines, supplier delays, customs, shipping carriers, or other circumstances outside of Hatlanders’ control.
Some pre-orders may require a minimum final order quantity before production begins. If the required minimum quantity is not reached, Hatlanders may cancel the pre-order and issue refunds for the affected orders.
All pre-order sales are final. Pre-order items are not eligible for cancellation, return, refund, exchange, size change, or order modification after checkout, unless Hatlanders cancels the pre-order.
By placing a pre-order, the customer confirms that they have reviewed the item, size, delivery estimate, and pre-order terms before completing the purchase.
